History

Donna Reis founded Color Vision in 1989. The company was originally called Mystic Journey, which published the Mystic Journey Cards© and facilitated workshops on the history and proper utilization of Divination Tools.

Prior to 1989 Donna owned a consulting firm, based out of southern California. Donna was a successful marketing consultant and was an advisor to several major companies, as a single woman and mother of two she had achieved success and was well respected in her field.

In 1989 Donna’s younger brother died from alcohol related issues, he was only 42. He had loved the area around Mr. St. Helen in Washington State, so Donna decided to scatter his ashes there. She bought a train ticket and took his remains with her. As she was looking for the right and perfect place to scatter him, she was very taken back by the beauty of the area. The beauty of the area promoted her to pull over in her rental car and get down on her knees and give thanks for life and all its wonders. Donna drove for a while and found a spectacular river where she decided to scatter his ashes, as he loved to fish and this seemed like the right and perfect place. When she took out his ashes and said her good byes, she released his remains to spirit, when the ashes hit the water as they scattered they made a path of light that went across the river and up toward the heavens; it was the most phenomenal sight she had ever seen. When Donna returned home, she knew her brother had given her the gift of unconditional love; her life would never be the same again. Donna went on to open ColorVision and pioneer the field of color therapy.

As Donna has always been an avid reader, her interests being in books on emotional healing, alternative methods for healing the physical bodies and of course healing the spiritual bodies. As a young child Donna lived with her grandmother Maggie for a while. This was very helpful as Donna has the gift to see the aura in all it’s glorious colors, this made her feel very different and left out as a child. Maggie taught her to trust what she saw (this is how she developed the aura cameras) as well as what she felt (her intuitive feeling). Maggie loved to read cards as her mother before her, she taught this lovely gift to Donna as well.

After 15 years in business, Donna has developed the Color Vibration® Color Balancing System, which restores vibrational balance to the mental, emotional, physical and spiritual bodies by increasing the necessary coloration. Donna has dedicated her life to helping others heal their lives through color. She has been a featured speaker and facilitated workshops throughout the world, there are now Certified Chromatologist throughout the country using the Color Vibration® Color Balancing System Donna created to help their clients with the full unfolding of their purpose. When we embrace the power of color we can heal our lives.
