History
Donna Reis founded COLORVision in 1989. The company was originally called Mystic Journey, which published the Mystic Journey Cards© (known as the Simply Intuitive Cards© now). Mystic Journey facilitated workshops on the history and proper utilization of Divination Tools.
Prior to 1989 Donna owned a consulting firm, based out of southern California. Donna was a successful marketing consultant and advisor to several major companies, as a single woman and mother of two she had achieved success and was well respected in her field.
In 1989 Donna's younger brother died from alcohol related issues, he was only 42. He had loved the area around Mt St Helen in Washington State, so Donna decided to scatter his ashes there. She bought a train ticket from LA and took his remains with her. As she was looking for the right and perfect place to scatter him, she was very taken back by the beauty of the area. The beauty brought feelings of great thanks for life and all its wonders "what a glorious opportunity life offers us". When she took out his ashes and said her good byes, she released his remains to spirit, when the ashes hit the water as they scattered they; made a path of light that went across the river and up toward the heavens; it was the most phenomenal sight she had ever seen. When Donna returned home, she knew her brother had given her the gift of unconditional love; her life wound never be the same again. Donna went on to open COLORVision and pioneer the field of COLOR therapy.
